“Calling All Angels” Opens at the Eastern Shore Art Center
![]() Calling all Angels, a collaborative fundraiser of Mercy Medical and the Eastern Shore Art Center, opened on First Friday Artwalk to many enthusiastic viewers. Calling All Angels, an art show promoting artistic expressions of angels is on display until December 4, 2008, when the show culminates in a gala evening with a silent and live auction on Thursday, December 4, 2008 from 7 pm to 10 pm at the Eastern Shore Art in Fairhope. Tickets are available for $25. |

More than 150 artworks of angels are on display and for sale at the ESAC’s Calling All Angels show. The selections make wonderful holiday gifts while supporting a worthy cause. |

Ray worked his service and creativity hours through the Eastern Shore Art Center and submitted several pieces including origami folded angels for the for the Calling All Angels exhibit at the ESAC. The show is on display through December 4, 2008 when the artwork for be for sale in a silent and live auction. Ray is one of many students who have supported the show through art and service hours. |
International artists including Bruce Larson, Nall, and Ann Calagaz and many other local artists have displayed pieces that include a variety of mediums, sizes and subject matter for every art connoisseur. Children’s works of art and community collaborative pieces tell stories of angels that have changed lives and have inspired greatness in artists of all ages.
“Calling All Angels provides an array of angel artwork that will make wonderful holiday gifts while helping a good cause,” explained Donna Wilhelm, Mercy director of marketing. “The gala event on the 4th is a great opportunity to see the beautiful works of art and bid on them. It is a thrill to be a part of such a wonderful project as we experience angel happenings daily through the generosity of our community, our volunteers and our artists that made Calling All Angels possible,” said Wilhelm.
