After patients are discharged from an acute care hospital or are healing from injuries or health problems, Mercy Outpatient Rehabilitation can enhance their health, function and independence. Rehabilitation care plans are individualized based on the medical needs of each patient. Patients receive care from a licensed professional therapist with treatment sessions averaging 2-3 times per week. Along with treatment sessions, on location at the Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital in Daphne, therapists also educate patients on an appropriate at-home exercise program to optimize their care plan.
