Mercy Subacute/Skilled Nursing Rehabilitation has 60 inpatient beds in Baldwin County and 20 inpatient beds in Mobile County, dedicated and fully equipped therapeutic areas, and a chapel on location.
Following the physician’s referral, the patient is admitted, evaluated and introduced to the team of caregivers.
Using an interdisciplinary team approach under the direction of a medical director, the Mercy team develops the patient’s plan of care with short-term and long-term goals to maximize abilities and regain the highest level of wellness.

Mercy Medical staff assists patients and their families with insurance and reimbursement issues when necessary. Insurance or managed care programs usually cover rehabilitation services as prescribed by a physician. Individuals should discuss coverage with their insurance representative prior to treatment. |
